The word "Wellbeing" itself refers to the overall state of being happy, healthy and satisfied with one's life. My artwork which is a comtemporary painting in the form of cubism, title is artforwellbeing and its size is 13cm×20cm. I am really glad and blessed that I got chance to express what actually art for wellbeing means, As a human, as an individual I tied to express the struggles with mental heath and offering a source of comfort and support to those who might be going through similar phase and making them realized that you are not alone. I could make such artwork which evoke positive and encouraging message all over world through my painting. For me artwork is more than a just a paint on canvas but it is a testament to my resillience.
My painting seeks to promote relaxation, mindfulness and emotional healing. It tries to evoke feelings of peace, trying to accept and being confidence about yourself, serenity and joys. It tires to provide viewers with an escape from daily stress and a chance to reflect on their emotions and experiences. In my painting I use claming colors , gentle brushstrokes, and depicts scenes of nature which can be seen in the upper part of head, tranquillity and positive human connections. I use painting colours to convey specific feelings and message. For me colours plays a significant role in evoking various emotions which affect our mood, mindset and overall sense of wellbeing. There is a specific "tika" on forehead which indicates a powerful use of intense colour red which is associated with passion, energy and it evoke strong emotions including love, excitement and motivation, courage to express and release intense emotions.
My painting is full of combination of various colours in face and body which evokes overall wellbeing which carries a messages of calming, peace, stability, using of green in upper part of head symbolizes growth, positive feelings of rejuvenation and positively, similarly yellow in the background indicate vibrant and cheerful colour that exudes optisims joy and happiness. It is used to life one's spirits, boost confidence and foster a sense of warmth and positively. The use of black in eye area tries to embracing the unknown and exploring one's innerself.
Through my art work I want to reminder that self care is an art itself. The impact of painting is huge in my life. Creating art that help each and individuals to explore their inner thoughts, feelings, leading to better self understanding and personal growth. Through this painting I aim to promote healing, self-awareness and overall wellbeing of individual living in this entired world.
